Nelson has over two decades of finance and operations experience in venture capital, private equity, public accounting and startups.

Prior to joining APL, Nelson held senior finance roles, including CFO, Chief Accounting Officer and VP of Finance, at venture capital and private equity firms including Valo Ventures, Rainfall Ventures, SER Capital, American Infrastructure Funds and Tallwood Venture. Before entering the private equity and venture capital industry, Nelson was a senior auditor at PwC, serving more than a dozen venture capital clients.

Nelson holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
